Shabby Chic is a term used to describe a style where aged and distressed elements are used to create a rustic yet soft romantic look. Typical elements would include painted floors, distressed furniture, crystal, pastel tones, florals, linens, lace and vintage finds. Think French opulence meets English country cottage.
The Interior Design profession is like any other professional service who you employ when the need arises. Sure you could defend yourself in court if you had to, but chances are you would hire a member of the legal professional.
