I currently have 6,817 photo’s on my laptop so I had a feeling that it might take a while to find the right image. I knew exactly where I wanted to hang the picture and I certainly didn’t want an photograph of me leaping off the wall and scaring the life out of visitors So that narrowed it down to either a landscape scene of one of the boss of the house…….. The Dog!
I spotted this image on We Blog Design and I just had to share it with you. The image is from Swedish photographer and retouch artist Erik Johansson. It’s called Go Your Own Road which I think could be a good mantra to all the Leaving Cert students who received their exam results during the week. I hope you find your own road 🙂
As I’m pretty much under house arrest having broken my foot, this is how I feel right now……..
Along with my Interior Design work and running this blog, I am also on the committee of The Interiors Association, the professional body in Ireland representing Interior Architects, Designers and Stylists. Last Saturday we organised a private tour of some of Dublin’s most famous Georgian landmarks.
The weather is glorious at the moment, so on Saturday John, myself and Arthur decided to take ourselves out to Howth for the day. We were feeling energetic so figured we’d take the cliff loop walk which is a 7 kilometre walk over the cliff top and around Howth Head. The walk takes you along the rugged coastline and although it’s a bit of a hike, has spectacular views of the coastline and out to sea towards Irelands Eye and Lambay Island.
I entered a photo a while ago in a local Community Boards competition and my photo is now one of 7 finalists which are up for the the public vote.
