Going Dotty About Dotty Furniture

I love it when I come across new and innovation products.  AND when that product is 100% Irish it’s even better!

Dotty Furniture is one such company.  William O’Connor set up Dotty Furniture when he was made redundant from his job in September 2011.  Not one to let the doom and gloom of the recession get to him, William decided he wanted to shake up traditional wood furniture.  He began designing and painting furniture in bright vibrant colours, and then adding dots, stripes and even gingham effects.

The result is a spectacular and unique range of “Happy Furniture”.

William says  “What makes Dotty Furniture different is the flexibility we offer our customers. We provide a tailored service and order pieces to size, paint to any taste and offer a wide selection of handles to make each piece unique.”

The Dotty Furniture range includes kitchen dressers, living room tables, shelves and book cases as well as some more unusual items like this quirky grandfather clock.

They also do a great range of kids furniture including these authentic old 1940’s school desks.

They didn’t look like that in my day 🙂

If you fancy winning one of these gorgeous desks, get yourself over to the Dotty Furniture Facebook Page to be in with a chance to win.

If you’re looking for something uniquely different for your home I suggest you click your way to www.dottyfurniture.com   All products are Irish, hand painted and finished to the highest standard using Farrow and Ball paints.
