Creative Christmas Table Settings

Christmas planning has well and truly begun and the To Do List is constantly being updated.  Every year at this time I think I’ve loads of time and then suddenly it’s 11:45 on Christmas Eve and I’m still up to my neck in wrapping paper and ribbon!

And will this year be any different I hear you ask……… probably not!

But the reason I’m so unorganised is because I’m too busy keeping all you lovely people organised!! 🙂 Over the next few weeks I hope to keep you updated with some Christmas posts to make your home oozing of style and pizazz!

Lets start off with food!  If you’re going to spend so much time and energy preparing a magnificent banquet for your family, you want a wow table to show it off!  I’ve put together some striking table settings which I’m sure will inspire you and make your Christmas table sparkle!

When deciding on your table setting, it’s always a good idea to stick with the same colour palette and style as the rest of your Christmas décor so your table blends in harmoniously with the rest of the house.

Whatever colour scheme you’re going with this year, I’ve got you covered………

Make a striking statement by hanging red baubles on ribbon above the table.

Silver White and Green are the hottest colour schemes this Christmas.

Create drama with a bold pink and purple scheme.

Use crisp white table linen with earthy brown napkins and floral twigs for a rustic contemporary scheme.

Use navy and silver to achieve a beautiful fresh and fun theme.

I’ll finish on a little tip.  Use a row of mirrors as the table runner to make the setting feel bigger.  It also reflects candle light with stunning effect.

How do you decorate your Christmas Table?
