Countdown to Christmas Week

Sorry it’s been a bit quiet around here, but like many of you at the moment, I’ve been running around like a mad woman trying to get everything organised for Christmas!

Hard to believe that in less than 2 weeks it will be all over. The fuss, the rushing around the shops, the chaos, the tantrums, the stress!  And all for one day!

However……. for the next week and a half there is a strong possibility of chaos, stress and tantrums!!

It doesn’t matter how organised I am, or how many lists I make (and I make LOTS of lists), there is still last-minute madness.

I am normally very organised at this stage but for some reason this year I’m in chaos.  On the plus side, the tree and decorations are up and my Christmas cards are posted. (My husband thinks I have completely lost the plot as our Christmas cards this year feature our little Westie Arthur 😛  )

I have some but by no means all of my presents bought and I have ribbon but no wrapping paper!!  I’ve the foodie goodies bought and hidden from John because trust me, if he knew there were in the house they’d be eaten.  My turkey and ham are ordered and I have my grocery shopping list done.  So I’m semi organised I suppose!

I’m off now to blitz the shops and hopefully get everything finished today.  In the meantime I’ll leave you with what Christmas looks like around here.

How about you?  Are you organised for the arrival of St Nick or will there be tears and tantrums in your house yet?
