A Sunny Afternoon In Howth

Summer has finally arrived in Ireland….. well for a few days at least.

The weather is glorious at the moment, so on Saturday John, myself and Arthur decided to take ourselves out to Howth for the day.

Arthur all set for his day trip :-)

We were feeling energetic so figured we’d take the cliff loop walk which is a 7 kilometre walk over the cliff top and around Howth Head.  The walk takes you along the rugged coastline and although it’s a bit of a hike, has spectacular views of the coastline and out to sea towards Irelands Eye and Lambay Island.

It’s a fairly rugged walk and close to the cliff edge, so a sensible pair of shoes is a must!

But the views are amazing!

There are literally hundreds of birds nesting in those rocks

Back down to sea level and time to sit down and relax.

All that fresh air seems to have been too much for the boys.   They were great company on the drive home! 🙂
